How do I get booked to play Sound Camp?

Submit the Musician Application. Be sure to fully complete the form and include any relevant documents, links, and/or media. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

What kinds of music does Sound Camp book?

Sound Camp is a multi-genre event that welcomes a wide range of styles—from bass, house, and ambient to experimental, folk, country, jam bands, and cross-genre live/electronic acts. We prioritize originality, vibe, and community energy over my single genre.

Will I get paid to perform?

Select performers may receive honorariums or travel support on a case-by-case basis. All accepted artists will receive a comped festival pass and the opportunity to play in a collaborative, community-powered environment. If you require financial support, please include this in your application.

Can our collective do a takeover?

Yes! We love stage takeovers and curated camp sets. Please submit your application as a group and include your full lineup, technical needs, and concept or theme to be considered.

Can I play multiple or renegade sets?

If you'd like to play multiple sets, let us know in your application. If you want to be considered for renegade sets, fill out the EDM Prosperity Network x Sound Camp Open Deck Application

Can I bring my own equipment?

Yes, within reason. If you plan to bring personal or specialty gear, please list it in your application.

Note: Sound Camp is not responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen equipment. Please plan accordingly.

What kind of DJ gear is provided?

Sound Camp will provide a standard professional setup, which includes:

âž  4x Pioneer CDJ-3000's

âž  1x Pioneer DJM-A9 or DJM-900NXS2 mixer

If you require additional equipment (e.g., turntables, MIDI controllers, DVS systems, or analog gear), please indicate this clearly in your application. All custom setups must be approved in advance.

Can I perform as part of a visual or live performance collaboration?

Absolutely. If you're collaborating with a visual artist, dancer, VJ, or flow artist, let us know in your application so we can coordinate placement and scheduling.

Do I get a comped ticket and/or guest passes?

All artists will get a comped festival pass. Guest passes are offered based on set length, crew size, and travel needs. If you require parking passes, please indicate so in your application.

Does Sound Camp provide accommodations?

Sound Camp is a BYO-Tent festival. Artists will have access to the Crew Campgrounds from the morning of their performance to the morning following their performance. Artists will also have access to the shared spaces (chill zones, restrooms, kitchens) in our Crew River House during their stay. Only approved Artists and their listed guests will receive credentialing to access these areas.

When is the deadline to submit my logo and visuals?

If selected to perform at Sound Camp, final promotional assets (logos, photos, visuals, etc.) are due three weeks prior to your scheduled performance date. Exact dates and submission timelines will be included in your Onboarding Packet.

When Should I plan to load-in and loud-out?

Most artists will have load-in and load-out times scheduled between September 25 - 29, 2025. Some acts with additional gear or production needs may be assigned load-in on September 24th.  Your specific load-in and load-out details will be outlined in your Onboarding Packet.

Do I need to show any type of insurance to play Sound Camp?

Not unless your performance includes fire, aerial work, large-scale structures, or physically interactive installations. Most DJs and musicians do not need to provide insurance. If applicable, full insurance details will be outlined in your Onboarding Packet.

I can't make my set! What do I do?

Notify us as soon as possible using the contact listed in your Onboarding Packet. We understand life happens—we just need time to adjust schedules and keep the show running smoothly.
