When is Sound Camp?

Sound Camp takes place September 26-28, 2025. Campgrounds open to Early Arrival passholders on Thursday, September 25, 2025.

Where is Sound Camp?

Sound Camp is located along the Guadalupe River in New Braunfels, Texas.

What time does the festival start and end each day?

Programming runs from early morning through late night each day. Specific hours will be posted in the official festival schedule, released closer to the event date.

 

What kind of music and experiences can I expect?

Expect multi-genre acts across multiple stages, plus art installations, wellness workshops, live painting, tubing, and plenty of spontaneous, community-driven magic throughout the weekend.

 

What do I need to bring to check-in?

For a smooth check-in process, please come prepared with:

➟ A valid government-issued photo ID

➟ Your festival wristband

➟ Any additional wristbands for camping, floating, or early arrival

➟ A Parking Pass if you’re arriving by car

If you’re picking up your wristband from will-call, please have your purchase confirmation email (printed or digital) readily available.

 

Is Sound Camp all ages?

No. Sound Camp is a 21+ event. A valid government-issued ID is required at the gate.

 

Is re-entry allowed?

No, re-entry to the festival grounds is not permitted. However, 3-Day passholders with camping may move freely between the festival grounds and campgrounds. All guests must keep their wristband(s) on at all times.

 

How should I prepare for Texas weather?

Prepare for hot days, cool nights, and possible rain. We recommend bringing:

➟ Sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses)

➟ Lightweight layers

➟ Waterproof gear

➟ Swimwear

➟ Your best dancing shoes ✨

 

What happens if it rains?

Sound Camp is a rain-or-shine event. In the event of severe weather, safety protocols will be implemented. Please pack accordingly and come prepared for all conditions.

 

Can I charge my phone?

Sound Camp does not offer charging stations at this time. We strongly recommend bringing a portable charger or battery pack to keep your devices powered throughout the weekend.

 

Are lockers available?

Lockers are not available on-site. Please keep valuables secure in your tent or on your person.

 

Can I bring a camera?

Personal cameras and phones are welcome. Professional photography or video equipment (e.g., detachable lenses, drones, boom mics) are prohibited unless approved by the media team.
